Internal This Accounts Payable role is within the Global Expense Processing and will support the Accounts Payable process. Associate will play a pivotal role, supporting the AP leadership, on a team that performs the following functions: a)Timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, b)Global vendor management, delivery of AP-adjacent tasks (some accounting), c)Development and alignment to policy, d)Standardization of processes and delivery of BPI process improvements and corresponding savings. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops subject matter expertise in a subset of the countries supported by the AP team and acts as the main point of contact for in-country business partners (finance, accounting, operations) for smaller, less complex countries. Assists in the execution of the end-to-end accounts payable process for his/her respective subset of countries, directly completing higher complexity deliverables. Supports the vendor setup process for EMEA. Resolves escalated customer service issues (level 2 issues) and effectively/timely communicates resolution with business partners. Develops a working relationship with teams (both finance and business partners) Understands and complies with statutory requirements, and corporate policies and procedures. Supports all activities related to internal and external audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Identifies opportunities for improvement and assists with implementation. Partners with a diverse team (onshore, offshore and outsourced) Must have basic knowledge of Statutory compliances (GST, TDS and Income Tax) Participates as needed in special projects. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of accounts payable experience Experience working in a multi-location (virtual) environment Experience driving process standardization and improvement LI-DNI
