At Modern, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Ops Associate to join our Client Technology delivery team. In this role, you will coordinate operational activities across key client accounts, partnering with Account Managers and Client Tech leads to ensure smooth execution of invoicing, timesheets, compliance, and account health processes. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the delivery of value to customers powered by our Enterprise Data Product Platform, DataOS.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in account operations, client services, or delivery operations roles, preferably in Saas, technology, or data product companies.
Proven experience coordinating with Account Managers, Engagement Managers and other client tech leads for timesheets, invoicing, compliance, and reporting activities.
o Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, data cleanup) and ability to prepare operational reports and metrics. o Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills. Should be capable of working cross-functionally across Client Tech, Finance, and Compliance.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to identify process gaps, risks, and automation opportunities in account operations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing multiple client accounts and ensuring on-time deliverables.
o Familiarity with compliance and governance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and audit documentation processes. o Comfortable with defining and interpreting account health metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, utilization as needed
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Information Technology (or related
discipline).
Solid understanding of operational workflows in data or technology environments in Saas
organisations
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to simplify complex
operational and compliance information.
Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on process
efficiency.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, managing multiple
priorities effectively.
Experience with compliance audits, finance, governance frameworks, and documentation
practices preferred.
