Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized

Accounts Officer

to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Record daily financial transactions and ensure correct posting to ledgers. Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable balances. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor and report on financial discrepancies or variances. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or ICAN is an advantage). Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer, Accountant, or similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). Excellent Excel and data analysis skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
