to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and ensure the accuracy of financial documentation and entries. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry, processing invoices, and updating financial records.
Maintain and reconcile accounting ledgers and bank statements.
Prepare and submit financial reports, including expense reports.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Process payments and manage petty cash.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes.
Basic entry in Tally (sales, purchase, payment, receipt & journal voucher).
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist in TDS adjustment entries.
Assisting team members as per their work requirement.
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Account Assistant or in a similar role (preferred).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
