Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Oversee

books of accounts

, general ledger, trial balance, and finalization of accounts. Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

as per statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with

Companies Act, Accounting Standards, and Ind AS (if applicable)

. Manage plant-wise and unit-wise financial reporting.

2. Costing & MIS

Monitor

product costing

for steel and paper manufacturing (raw materials, power, fuel, wastage, yield). Analyze

production costs, overhead absorption, and variance analysis

. Prepare

MIS reports

on cost, profitability, capacity utilization, and margin analysis. Support management in

pricing decisions and cost control measures

.

3. Taxation & Compliance

Handle

GST compliance

including returns, reconciliation, audits, and assessments. Manage

Direct Tax

matters - Income Tax computation, TDS, returns, assessments. Coordinate with tax consultants for

scrutiny, appeals, and notices

. Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other labor laws.

4. Budgeting & Financial Control

Prepare

annual budgets and forecasts

. Monitor actual vs budget performance and analyze deviations. Implement

internal financial controls

and SOPs. Support working capital optimization (inventory, receivables, payables).

5. Audit & Liaison

Coordinate with

Statutory Auditors, Cost Auditors, Internal Auditors, and Banks

. Handle stock audits, bank audits, and cost audits. Prepare audit schedules and resolve audit observations. Manage banking operations including

LCs, BGs, CC limits, and term loans

.

6. Team & Systems Management

Lead and mentor accounts and finance team at plant and HO level. Ensure smooth operation of

ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle)

. Implement process improvements and automation in accounting functions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
