The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in accounting, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, supervising the accounts team, coordinating audits, and providing strategic financial insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports for management decision-making.
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenses against projections.
Accounting Operations
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes.
Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.).
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare documentation and coordinate internal and external audits.
Team Leadership
Supervise and guide the accounts team in daily operations.
Conduct performance reviews and training to enhance team efficiency.
Strategic Support
Provide financial insights to support business growth and cost control.
Assist management in financial planning, risk assessment, and investment decisions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
