GST, Income Tax, Banking, Loans, and Statutory Compliance
. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with Indian financial and taxation laws.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
Maintain complete books of accounts including
journal entries, ledgers, cash book, bank book, and trial balance
Preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
Reconciliation of
bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
GST & Taxation
Preparation and filing of
GST returns
(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, annual returns)
GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance
Preparation and filing of
Income Tax Returns (ITR)
Handling
TDS, TCS
, and related returns
Coordination with
CA and auditors
for statutory audits and tax matters
Banking & Loans
Handling
bank transactions, cheque payments, NEFT/RTGS
Preparation of documents for
bank loans, working capital limits, and renewals
Coordination with banks for
loan documentation, interest calculations, and compliance
Monitoring loan accounts, EMI schedules, and repayment tracking
Statutory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with
Companies Act, GST Act, Income Tax Act
, and other statutory regulations
Maintain proper accounting and statutory records for audits
Support internal and external audits
Other Responsibilities
Assist management with
financial reports, MIS, and analysis
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
Support HR/accounts coordination for
salary processing and statutory deductions (PF/ESI - if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
(preferred)
3-5 years
of relevant experience in accounts and taxation
Strong working knowledge of
GST, Income Tax, Banking, and Loans
Proficiency in
Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
Good understanding of statutory compliance and audits
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
