Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Manager/Senior Accountant to lead our finance department's day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial data, preparing complex financial reports, and ensuring strict compliance with evolving tax and accounting regulations. The ideal candidate for 2026 will possess a strong command of modern TALLY ERP systems and a proactive approach to streamlining financial processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

General Ledger Management:

Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and complex account reconciliations.

Audit Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing necessary work papers and ensuring 100% audit compliance.

Tax Compliance:

Manage federal, state, and local tax filings-GST, Income Tax, TDS and stay updated on the latest changes in tax legislation.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist leadership in developing departmental budgets and providing variance analysis to track performance against targets.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement automation tools and internal controls to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting cycle.

Leadership & Mentorship:

Supervise and train junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and a culture of accountability.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Certification:

Active

CPA

,

CMA

, or

ACCA

designation is highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros). Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Analytical Ability:

Strong quantitative skills to interpret large datasets and identify financial trends.

Communication:

Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders clearly.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
