Match and reconcile bank and credit card transactions with General Ledger (GL) entries.
AP/AR Reconciliation:
Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable sub-ledgers with the General Ledger.
Accruals & Prepayments:
Record accrued expenses, unbilled items, prepaid expenses, and month-end adjustments.
Fixed Assets Management:
Update asset registers, record depreciation, asset additions, repairs, and disposals.
Petty Cash Handling:
Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
2. Reporting & Finalization
Trial Balance Review:
Generate and verify trial balance for accuracy of debits and credits.
Financial Statements:
Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Review & Analysis:
Analyze financial reports, identify variances, and provide explanations.
Statutory Compliance:
Ensure compliance and timely filings of
Income Tax, GST, TDS
, and other statutory requirements.
Period Closing:
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in the accounting system.
Documentation:
Maintain and archive accounting records for audit readiness and reference.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory regulations.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books/ERP).
Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Salary
Salary will be based on candidate's skills, experience, and performance level as evaluated during interviews.
