Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, cash & bank).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and timely closing of books.
Maintain accounts as per statutory norms and hospital standards.
2. Billing & Revenue Management
Oversee IP & OP billing processes.
Monitor TPA/Insurance billing and collection.
Ensure correct documentation and adherence to tariff structures.
Review outstanding collections and follow up with departments.
3. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESI payments, PT & other statutory filings.
Coordinate for internal and external audits.
Maintain all statutory records and ensure timely submissions.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Analyze expenses, variances, and cost control measures.
Monitor department-wise expenditure and support management in cost optimization.
5. Cash & Asset Management
Supervise petty cash, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Ensure proper cash handling procedures in billing counters.
6. Team Management
Lead and mentor the accounts team.
Conduct training on billing, accounting software, and compliance.
Ensure performance monitoring and productivity.
7. Coordination & Support
Liaise with internal departments (HR, Nursing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, etc.) for financial clarity.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, TPA/Insurance representatives.
Support management in financial decision-making.
