ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements
Leads team to complete accounting activities which include Financial Reporting, P&L, expenses, allocations, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, financial close, full balance sheet review, Reporting Packages preparation and review, tax accounting, and filing
They oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing. They ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Overseeing spending, ensuring resources are allocated properly, and helping other managers create budgets
Ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant, and producing and submitting financial reports
Leading a team of accountants and finance professionals, and providing training and mentorship
Filing corporate tax returns with the nation's revenue authorities
Should take care of bank-related works and auditing-related works
Getting proper accounting-related data from all other departments, wherever required.
Analyzing software reports and getting reports for accounts.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: -
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting with CA Intern
10 years of experience with at least 2 years at a managerial level in the FMCG industry
FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Trading, or enterprise corporate
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
