Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Accounts Manager

to lead and oversee the company's finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, excellent analytical abilities, and experience within the construction or contracting industry. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, disciplined cost control, and robust compliance with statutory requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting



Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. Maintain general ledger accuracy and supervise all accounting entries. Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and project-related expenses. Monitor cash flows, working capital, and project budgets to ensure financial stability.

Project Costing & Budget Control



Oversee project-wise costing, BOQ tracking, and expense classification. Analyse variances between estimated and actual project costs and highlight deviations. Work closely with project managers for cost optimisation and budget adherence.

Compliance & Statutory Management



Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF/ESI, professional tax, and other statutory obligations. Liaise with auditors for internal and statutory audits and ensure full compliance. Maintain accurate records for taxation, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor contracts.

Vendor & Client Coordination



Oversee client billing, RA bills, contractors' bills, and payment follow-ups. Manage vendor payments, negotiate credit terms, and maintain healthy vendor relationships. Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement



Manage and mentor junior accounting staff. Implement improved internal controls, accounting systems, and financial SOPs. Work with senior management on financial planning and business strategy inputs.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter preferred). 5-10 years of accounting experience;

experience in construction/contracting industry is highly preferred

. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliances. Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar). Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial discipline. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?27,500.00 per month
