To overseeing Accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information within an organization.
8. Key Responsibilities
Process transactions:
o Handle daily cash payments, record transactions in the accounting system and manage petty cash.
Managing Accounting Operations:
o To oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, GST return filing (GST R1, GSTR3B), TDS return filing. To ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Reconciliation:
o Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations, identify and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
Financial Reporting:
o Responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, including income statements, P&L account, balance sheets, cash flow statements, stock statement report preparation, Import & Export documents report preparation and monthly outstanding report. To ensure compliance with accounting principles and provide accurate financial information for decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
o To participate in the budgeting process by analysing financial data, monitoring expenses and providing insights for budget development and contribute to financial forecasting to help the organization plan for future financial needs.
Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards:
o Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and standards, company policies.
Auditing:
o Internal and external audits by providing required documentation and coordinating with auditors.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:
o They work closely with departments across the organization, such as finance, operations, and human resources.
o Provide financial insights, support decision-making, and collaborate on projects and initiatives that have financial implications.
Inter-departmental collaboration:
o Work with other departments to gather financial information and ensure financial objectives are met.

Good knowledge in Tally, Excel and accounting software.
