Hiring: Senior Accountant (Export Sector)

Location: Ludhiana (On-site)

Hiring Type: 3-month probationary engagement (with confirmation based on mutual fit)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is sharp, practical, and grounded in accounting fundamentals. This role requires someone who can think through problems logically, apply first principles, and operate confidently in a fast-moving manufacturing and export environment.

This is not a clerical role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, decisive, and comfortable engaging in constructive, logic-driven discussions with senior management on accounting processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, MIS, and reconciliations Support senior accountants and management with finance-related analysis Handle GST and TDS documentation, filings, and compliance support Manage cheque preparation and related documentation Maintain accurate stock records for Finished Goods and packing materials using Excel Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or inefficiencies in accounting processes and suggest improvements
Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel (mandatory) Solid foundation in Financial Statements preparation and analysis Close attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices Strong analytical skills with a clear understanding of accounting principles Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and learn quickly Prior experience in manufacturing, trading, or export-oriented companies preferred
