About the role



We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Manager for our Accounts Department

Key Responsibilities:



1. Financial Management & Reporting



Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all accounting entries. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements.

2. Cost & Inventory Accounting



Maintain detailed cost accounting records, including standard costing and variance analysis. Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. Monitor production costs and recommend cost-control measures.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting



Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze deviations from budgets and provide corrective recommendations. Support departmental head in cost planning and performance tracking.

4. Compliance, Audit & Coordination with CA



Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws. Liaise with the external Chartered Accountant (CA) for: Statutory audits and tax audits. Preparation and filing of income tax returns and GST returns. Review and finalization of books of accounts and financial statements. Resolving audit queries and ensuring timely submissions. Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.

5. Process Improvement & ERP Management



Implement and optimize accounting processes and internal controls. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in ERP/accounting software usage. Support digital transformation initiatives in finance operations.

About you:



Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. 5-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or factory environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or equivalent). Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with taxation, statutory compliance, and financial controls. Experience coordinating with Chartered Accountants and auditors.
