Accounts Manager

to lead our finance and accounting operations.

This role requires expertise in managing day-to-day accounting activities, compliance with statutory requirements, financial planning, and coordination with auditors and banks. You will play a key part in ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and accuracy across all processes.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the accounts function and ensure efficient handling of

receivables and payables

. Plan and monitor

daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks

to ensure timely completion. Handle

registration, renewal, and compliance

for licenses and statutory approvals. Manage

insurance

for company vehicles, assets, and employees. Supervise

payroll processing

and ensure timely salary disbursement. Review and finalize

ledgers

and financial records. Ensure compliance with tax laws including

GST, TDS, TCS, ESI & PF

, and oversee all statutory filings. Maintain proper

documentation, filing, and record-keeping

for financial data. Coordinate with

auditors, consultants, and external agencies

for audits and financial reviews. Ensure financial tasks are completed within

internal timelines and statutory deadlines

. Maintain

accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality

in all financial matters. Support the

implementation and usage of accounting software/tools

. Resolve escalated issues related to

payments, invoices, and compliance

. Prepare

bank proposals, CMA data, and financial ratios

as per banking guidelines. Liaise with

bank officers

for credit facilities and limit approvals. Calculate

Bank Drawing Power (DP)

and

Maximum Permissible Bank Finance (MPBF)

. Take ownership of key financial tasks during the absence of senior management to ensure

business continuity

. Conduct and manage

half-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

.

Desired Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of

accounting principles, taxation laws, and compliance requirements

. Hands-on experience in

GST, TDS, TCS, ESI, PF, and statutory filings

. Proficiency in

accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or equivalent)

and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with auditors, consultants, and banks. Ability to

plan, prioritizes, and meets deadlines

under pressure. Integrity and commitment to

accuracy, confidentiality, and transparency

.

Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

. Professional certifications such as

CA, CMA, or equivalent

(preferred but not mandatory).

5-10 years of experience

in finance and accounting, preferably in

manufacturing, engineering, or railway industry

. Proven experience in handling

audits, compliance, and banking processes

.
