Job Description

Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Maintain complete books of accounts for vehicle sales, spare parts, service, and workshop operations Monitor and reconcile dealer incentives, claims, discounts, and commissions from manufacturers Ensure accurate accounting of vehicle stock, inventory valuation, and cost control Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports Handle Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance including returns, reconciliations, and audits Manage income tax, tax deducted at source (TDS), and other statutory compliances Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities Supervise and guide the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate work Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies Monitor cash flow, working capital, and dealership profitability Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
