Maintain and manage all accounting records related to logistics, including freight invoices, fuel expenses, toll charges, and maintenance costs.
Reconcile vendor accounts and oversee timely payments to transporters and other service providers.
Monitor logistics expenses and implement cost-control strategies & assist in the preparation and monitoring of logistics budgets.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the logistics division. Generate MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and cost analysis for management review.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like GST, TDS, and other applicable laws. Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Liaise with the logistics and operations teams for data verification and cost validation. Work closely with procurement and operations departments to ensure financial accuracy.
Manage accounting in ERP software (Tally or other Logistics Specific Systems). Ensure smooth integration between logistics operations and financial systems.
