Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Manager - Accounts to lead the accounting function and ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage daily transactions, month-end and year-end processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reports to senior management. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and statutory regulations.
Job Responsibilities :
Manage and oversee daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
Prepare timely and accurate month-end journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain and update all accounting schedules and financial records.
Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition as per accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and accepted accounting principles.
Handle year-end closing activities and coordinate with external auditors for audits.
Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
Communicate regularly with senior leadership regarding financial performance and insights.
Strengthen internal financial controls and improve accounting processes.
Job Requirements :
B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA with 10-15 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting functions.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle month-end and year-end closing processes independently.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
