The Maintenance Manager for the Accounts Department is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all accounting systems, software, and related infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain efficiency in all account-related operations.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance & Support
Oversee the day-to-day functioning of accounting software (ERP(Farvision), Tally, etc.).
Monitor system performance and coordinate with IT or vendors for timely resolution of issues.
Implement regular data backups and maintain data security protocols.
Process Improvement
Streamline workflows in the Accounts department to ensure smooth operations.
Identify process gaps and suggest automation or system upgrades to improve efficiency.
Compliance & Accuracy
Ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.
Support statutory audits by providing timely reports and resolving discrepancies.
Vendor Coordination
Liaise with software vendors and service providers for maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Team Support & Training
Provide support and training to accounts staff on software usage and updates.
Prepare user manuals and SOPs for accounting systems and processes.
Reporting & Documentation
Generate regular reports on system performance and department efficiency.
Maintain documentation of system issues, updates, and resolutions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP/accounting software (Tally/Farvision).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong coordination and vendor management skills.
Good communication and team management abilities.
