Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining smooth vendor and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Maintain AP ledger and reconcile vendor statements. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies. Prepare runs (cheques, online transfers, etc.). Monitor aging payment reports and track outstanding payables.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Generate and send customer invoices on time. Track customer payments and post receipts in the accounting system. Follow up on overdue payments and maintain AR aging reports. Work with the sales team to resolve billing issues. Reconcile customer accounts regularly.

General Accounting:

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support audits by preparing required schedules and documentation. Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.com/BA 1-3 years of experience in AP & AR processes. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
