The Accounts Manager will oversee financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial planning. This role involves managing budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses, preparing reports, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenditure to optimize financial performance.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory requirements.
Develop and manage budgets in coordination with department heads.
Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets.
Provide insights on cost optimization, profitability, and revenue enhancement.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
Supervise and guide the accounts team for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in hospitality industry accounts/finance.
Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems (e.g., IDS, Opera, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
High integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
