To manage and oversee all accounting and financial functions of the company. The role includes bookkeeping, statutory compliance, salary disbursement, taxation, vendor/customer reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely decision support for management.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts as per statutory requirements and company policies.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations such as expenses, payments, and receipts.
Ensure timely billing, GST compliance, TDS deductions, and filing of returns.
Monitor daily cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling across all stores.
Manage vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Oversee salary disbursement and statutory compliances payment. (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, etc.).
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and compliance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management.
Monitor inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and shrinkage reporting in coordination with the stores and warehouse.
Implement internal financial controls and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Train and supervise the accounts team to ensure timely and accurate work delivery.
Knowledge Criteria
:
Education -
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
Experience -
6-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail / FMCG sector
Technical Skills -
Knowledge of Tally ERP / any ERP system, GST, TDS,
IT Skills -
MS Word, MS Excel, Email
