Role Overview

We are looking for an

Accounts Manager with strong experience in Zoho Books and e-commerce accounting

to manage the complete finance function for our

D2C website and marketplace business

. The role involves end-to-end ownership of

marketplace settlements, MIS, P&L, claims, returns, refunds, GST compliance, and payroll

, with high accuracy and accountability.

This is a hands-on role based in

Bangalore

, working closely with business, operations, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Accounting & Settlements

Reconcile settlement reports from

Myntra, AJIO, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.

Track and validate: Orders vs payouts Commissions, platform fees, and logistics charges Penalties and recoveries Returns and refunds Raise and follow up on

claims and discrepancies

with marketplace support Ensure timely recovery of short payments
MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

Track: Channel-wise revenue Commissions and logistics costs Returns % and refunds Recoveries and penalties Prepare

channel-wise and overall P&L statements

Identify margin leakages and cost overruns
Books of Accounts (Zoho Books - Mandatory)

Maintain complete books in

Zoho Books

Pass: Sales, purchase, and expense entries Journal entries Debit and credit notes Perform

bank reconciliation (BRS)

Maintain receivables, payables, and ageing
GST & Compliance

Prepare GST data and coordinate filings with CA Generate and manage

e-way bills

Maintain statutory records and compliance calendars
Returns, Refunds & Claims Control

Track return and refund status Maintain return and refund registers Ensure correct accounting entries for all reversals Analyze impact of returns on revenue and P&L
Payroll & HR Finance Support

Process monthly payroll Maintain attendance, leave, salary, and statutory deduction records Coordinate TDS and compliance filings
Skills & Requirements

Mandatory hands-on experience with

Zoho Books

Prior experience in

e-commerce / marketplace accounting

Strong understanding of: Settlement reconciliation P&L and Balance Sheet GST and statutory compliance Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills Experience handling

claims, returns, and refund accounting

High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills Ability to work independently and take ownership
Ideal Candidate

System-driven and highly analytical Comfortable working with large datasets and reconciliations Proactive in closing discrepancies and follow-ups with marketplaces Understands the financial flow of a
