Job Description


Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial reports to management. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulation Accounts Receivable and Payable: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes. Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections. Manage payments to vendors and suppliers to maintain good financial relationships. General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare tax returns and work with external auditors during tax audits. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to management for better decision-making. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs and financial obligations. Financial Auditing: Coordinate internal and external financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and procedures. Financial Controls: Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, preferably in the travel industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of travel-specific financial processes (e.g., commissions, refunds, reconciliations) is a plus.
