ABODE School is looking for the Accounts & IT Executive who will be responsible for handling the school's complete accounting cycle, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting, along with overseeing IT systems and automation. The role requires a semi-qualified CA or an experienced accountant with sound technical knowledge and the ability to streamline both financial and digital operations of the institution.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts & Finance:
Maintain and manage all accounting operations in
Zoho Books
, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, trial balance and final accounts.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure statutory compliance with
GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and Income Tax
.
Handle fee collection system integration, reconciliation, and reports.
Manage accounts payable/receivable and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Support in
budgeting, cost analysis, and fund allocation
for school operations.
Prepare and manage payroll, reimbursements, and statutory filings.
Liaise with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Ensure accuracy of financial data in ERP and implement internal controls.
Generate MIS reports for management review.
IT & Systems Management:
Oversee the smooth functioning of ERP, Tally, and fee management software.
Coordinate with IT vendors for system upgrades, data backup, and AMC services.
Manage IT assets -- laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV, biometric systems, and networking.
Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with data protection policies.
Support digital payment systems and integrations with financial software.
Facilitate automation of financial and administrative processes.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing, and compliance.
Proficiency in
Tally Prime / ERP / Excel (advanced level)
.
Working knowledge of
GST returns, TDS filing, and payroll processing
.
Understanding of IT hardware/software and troubleshooting basics.
Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Semi-qualified CA / B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

3-7 years of experience
in accounts, audit, or finance (preferably in education or service industry).
Exposure to IT systems or ERP implementation preferred.
