We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts professional to join our team at IITS Calicut. As an
Accounts (Intern)
, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and attention to detail will help us maintain accurate financial records and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
4. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
5. Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance team, management, and external auditors.
7. Prepare and file tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory returns.
8. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
1. CA/ICWA or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and MS Office.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
