Job Role: Accounts Head

Shift timing: 9AM - 7PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervising and mentoring the accounting team:

This includes delegating tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.

Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures:

Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Managing the overall accounting operations:

Overseeing daily transactions, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Preparing and analyzing financial statements:

Creating balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Developing and managing budgets:

Forecasting financial performance and identifying areas for cost savings.

Providing financial analysis and insights:

Assisting management with strategic decision-making.

Managing relationships with auditors:

Ensuring smooth audit processes.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards:

Staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.

Managing vendor relationships:

Ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Overseeing payroll and benefits administration:

Ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.

Supporting tax planning and compliance:

Managing tax filings and ensuring tax efficiency.

Collaborating with other departments:

Providing financial expertise and support to various teams within the organization.

Implementing and maintaining internal controls:

Protecting the organization's assets and financial information.

Identifying and mitigating financial risks:

Developing strategies to minimize potential losses.
