Qualifications

Experience:

Financial expertise:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, tax regulations (GST, TDS), and compliance procedures.
Software proficiency:
Expert-level proficiency in accounting software like Tally and strong skills in MS Excel.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and clients. Must have experience of team management.
Analytical ability:
Strong analytical skills to prepare and interpret financial and sales data.
Attention to detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and sales documentation.
Organizational skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a diverse set of responsibilities.

Ability to handle and resolve issues related to sales orders, client payments, and logistical challenges effectively.
Key responsibilities
Accounts and finance responsibilities
Financial management and reporting:
Oversee the accurate recording of all financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
Sales collection management:
Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors, retailers, and other clients to meet collection targets.
Statutory compliance:
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other tax returns. Ensure all financial activities are compliant with government regulations.
Financial analysis:
Provide regular financial reports, including sales performance, collections, and profitability analysis, to senior management.
Audit support:
Assist in preparing for and managing internal and external audits.
Credit management:
Monitor and manage the credit status of customers in coordination with the sales team.
Sales coordination responsibilities
Order-to-cash cycle:
Coordinate the entire sales order process, including order entry, invoice generation, and dispatch coordination with the logistics and warehouse teams.
Sales team support:
Act as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments, addressing inquiries and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Client communication:
Communicate with clients regarding their orders, invoices, and payments, resolving any issues in a timely manner.
Documentation and record-keeping:
Maintain accurate sales and financial records, updating other sales-related databases.
Sales reporting:
Assist in the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for the management team.
Inter-departmental collaboration:
Work with the sales and marketing teams to align product availability with promotional activities and ensure market needs are met.
