The Accounts Head will be responsible for leading the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage a team, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, fund management, and financial forecasting.
Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations and maintenance of accounting records.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
Ensure strict adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliances.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during statutory and internal audits.
Maintain updated documentation for all compliance-related processes.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
Prepare and present MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
Conduct variance analysis, cost control reviews, and profitability assessments.
Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and financial planning.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team to ensure high performance and accuracy.
Review team outputs, allocate tasks, and provide necessary training.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and established standards.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Oversee vendor reconciliations, payments, and credit terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Admin, HR, Sales, and Dispatch for smooth financial operations.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA/Inter CA/MBA Finance preferred (optional).
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
in accounting, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST Portal, MS Excel, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
