Job Title: Accounts & Finance Specialist (Business Partner role)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1.

Core Finance & Accounting

Lead all financial operations with accuracy and adherence to standards. Maintain accounting framework for timely closings and compliance.
2.

Treasury Operations

Manage liquidity, cash flows, and banking relationships. Optimize fund utilization and support strategic initiatives.
3.

Internal Controls & Financial Integrity

Implement and monitor financial controls. Ensure compliance and conduct control gap analysis.
4.

Statutory Audit & Compliance

Oversee all statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate reporting to external regulators.
5.

Taxation & Regulatory Liaison

Act as point of contact with tax authorities. Oversee tax filings and documentation.
6.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust strategies.
7.

Commercial Finance Support

Support business teams with financial modelling and data-driven insights.
8.

Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

Lead annual planning and forecasts. Deliver timely and accurate MIS reports.
9.

Board Reporting

Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
10.

SOPs & Process Improvements

Develop and standardize SOPs. Drive continuous improvement and digitization initiatives.
11.

Ad-hoc Reporting & Business Analysis

Respond to dynamic reporting needs and support cross-functional initiatives (e.g., ERP, BI).
12.

Technical Proficiency & Adaptability

High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP tools (SAP S/4 HANA preferred). Flexible and resilient under pressure in dynamic environments.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance Chartered Accountant (CA) - Qualified

Experience:

oMinimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting; experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.

Hands-on ERP experience is a must, with preference for SAP S/4 HANA. Prior work experience in Africa is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Ghana.
