About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accounts & Finance Professional

with a strong background in

manufacturing finance, accounting operations, and ERP systems

(SAP / Oracle). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing

day-to-day financial transactions, cost control, reporting, and statutory compliance

, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all accounting activities.

This role demands a professional who can bridge financial discipline with operational excellence and contribute to sound financial management within a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Manage end-to-end accounting operations including

AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and journal entries

. Prepare and maintain

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

in compliance with accounting standards. Handle

finalization of accounts

and assist in

statutory, internal, and tax audits

. Ensure timely closure of books and accurate reporting to management.

ERP and System Management

Post and verify accounting entries in

SAP / Oracle ERP

(mandatory). Ensure accuracy in financial postings, cost center allocation, and material movement entries. Generate reports, dashboards, and MIS through ERP for management review. Coordinate with IT and finance teams to resolve ERP-related issues and improve workflow automation.

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

Track and analyze

production costs, overheads, and inventory valuation

. Support

budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

for plant operations. Reconcile consumption data, material movements, and production outputs in ERP. Collaborate with plant and SCM teams for

cost control and profitability analysis

.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure

GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

are accurate and timely. Support compliance under

Companies Act, Income Tax, and other applicable laws

. Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities for audit-related matters.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Assist in

cash flow forecasting, fund management, and working capital optimization

. Handle vendor payments, receivable tracking, and credit control. Coordinate with banks for LC, BG, and other financial instruments.

MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare detailed

MIS reports

, profitability statements, and cost analysis for senior management. Highlight key financial metrics and recommend improvements for financial efficiency. Support management in decision-making through data-driven financial insights.

Key Requirements

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred Advanced Excel and ERP (SAP / Oracle) proficiency is mandatory

Experience:

7-12 years in

Accounts & Finance

within a

manufacturing or industrial company

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in

SAP / Oracle ERP

environment

Technical Skills:

Expertise in SAP FI/CO or Oracle Finance modules Strong command over Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS automation) Knowledge of Tally ERP (added advantage)

Behavioral Competencies:

High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Background

Candidates from

Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Chemical, or Steel

sectors. Exposure to

multi-plant accounting, cost audit, and ERP integration

preferred. Stable career history (long tenure in one or two organizations).
