The Manager - Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting, finance, and statutory compliance functions of the organization. This role involves supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, coordination with branches, and supporting management in financial planning. Experience in the real estate industry and working knowledge of RERA compliance will be an added advantage.
Maintain and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Department.
Ensure proper recording of all financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensure accurate bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and inter-company balance reconciliation.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Oversee the monthly billing process for all branches.
Ensure timely vendor payments and statutory payments.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate periodic MIS reports for management review.
Coordinate with CRM team for payment collections and final bill workings.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
Work with tax consultants for GST, PT, TDS, and income tax-related matters.
Ensure accurate statutory deductions and remittances in payroll.
Maintain compliance with accounting, taxation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Audit & Coordination
Coordinate with statutory auditors during annual audit and accounts finalization.
Coordinate with branch accountants and ensure smooth accounting processes across locations.
Collect reports and statements from branch teams for consolidation and review.
Real Estate & RERA Responsibilities
Ensure financial compliance with RERA guidelines related to project accounting and fund utilization.
Monitor project-level receipts, payments, and escrow requirements as per RERA norms.
Support documentation and financial reporting required for RERA submissions.
Maintain understanding of MMC calculations and support yearly revision process.
Reporting & Planning
Prepare financial reports and provide analytical support to assist in management decision-making.
Support management in budgeting, financial planning, and cost monitoring.
Maintain accuracy of Tally-based accounting system and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Experience in the real estate industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of RERA regulations and real estate project accounting is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
Ability to manage multiple branches and work in a fast-paced environment.
