We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Finance & Accounts Manager
to lead and manage the overall financial operations of our organization. This role includes responsibility for accounting, budgeting, inventory and expense control, internal audits, statutory compliance, tax assessments, and MIS reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and statutory frameworks.
Supervise all financial transactions in ERP (income, purchases, expenses)
Ensure accuracy in recording transactions, project codes, cost centres, and apportionment across projects
Scrutinize ledgers, and reconcile receivables and payables on a regular basis
Monitor and control expenses, enforce internal checks and controls
Inventory & Asset Management
Implement strong control mechanisms for fixed assets, consumables, and inventory
Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of stock records
Budgeting & MIS Reporting
Lead the annual budgeting process across all projects and divisions
Coordinate with project heads to prepare accurate forecasts and reforecasts
Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports, comparing actual vs budget with variance analysis and commentary
Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
Payroll & Receivables
Oversee payroll processing in coordination with attendance tracking
Monitor student fee receivables and grant income
Compliance & Liaison
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Direct Taxes, TDS, and other applicable laws
Liaise with universities, government agencies, and local authorities on compliance and reporting matters
Support in audits, tax scrutiny, and Charity Commissioner-related activities
Stakeholder & Audit Support
Provide timely and accurate financial reports, cost data, and statements to internal and external stakeholders
Assist auditors and consultants during audits, assessments, and inspections
Process Improvement & Governance
Drive continual improvement in financial policies, processes, internal controls, and systems
Ensure all operations adhere to legal provisions, ethical standards, and industry best practices
Skills & Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com with CA Inter / Final qualification
Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and
Tally ERP 9
Strong knowledge of Direct Taxation and Statutory Compliance
Fluency in
English and Gujarati
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
