Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Manager with 5-7 years of experience to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our FMCG / D2C business. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, taxation, compliance, and reporting within a high-volume transaction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

Manage end-to-end accounting including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end closure Ensure timely and accurate finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards
Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST compliances including filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and audits Manage TDS deductions, filings, and returns Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders
FMCG / D2C Operations

Manage accounting for high-volume sales, discounts, schemes, and promotional activities Reconcile sales across multiple channels (D2C website, marketplaces, distributors, modern trade) Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation with warehouse and supply chain teams Conduct margin, cost, and variance analysis
Reporting & Controls

Prepare MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and cash flow positions Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
Team & Cross-functional Coordination

Support and guide junior accounts team members Work closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and finance teams Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Key Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA / CMA preferred) 5-7 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance Prior experience in FMCG / D2C / Consumer Goods industry is mandatory Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances Experience handling inventory accounting and multi-channel sales reconciliation Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / ERP) and advanced Excel Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
