We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial accounts, auditing, tax planning, financial analysis, and reporting. The CA will ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide strategic insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare, review, and present financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statement).
Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, or local regulations.
Audit & Compliance:
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare working papers, review audit trails, and respond to auditors' queries.
Ensure adherence to corporate governance and financial policies.
Taxation:
Handle direct and indirect tax planning, preparation, and filing of tax returns (Income tax, GST, VAT, etc.).
Ensure tax compliance and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
Provide advice on tax implications of business transactions.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to provide insights on business performance.
Prepare financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
Management Reporting:
Provide regular reports to senior management on financial performance, forecasts, and KPIs.
Advise management on strategic financial matters.
Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate working capital.
Develop strategies to optimize liquidity and cash flow.
Stakeholder Communication:
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
Ensure effective communication between finance and other departments.
Ad-hoc Projects & Advisory:
Participate in M&A due diligence, financial restructuring, and other strategic projects.
Advise management on financial decision-making and risk management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Requirements:
Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from [Institute Name, e.g., ICAI in India, ACA in UK, etc.].
Additional certifications like CFA, CMA, or MBA in Finance would be a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of [X] years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting, ideally in [industry/sector].
Experience with audit firms, multinational companies, or large-scale financial operations is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
