Job Title: Accounts & Finance Head

Purpose of the Role:

To lead and manage the company's overall financial and accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, effective fund management, accurate financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. The role is responsible for maintaining fiscal discipline, supporting business growth, and ensuring transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee preparation and finalization of

Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow statements

.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness in

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

.

Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions to management.

Monitor and control overheads and ensure adherence to budgets.

2. Accounting Operations

Supervise all accounting functions --

General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation

.

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records as per statutory requirements.

Oversee

Cost Accounting

for machine and change part manufacturing.

Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Ensure timely filing and compliance for

GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements

.

Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government departments during audits and assessments.

Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulatory frameworks impacting the company.

4. Banking & Treasury Management

Manage

working capital, cash flow, and fund flow

efficiently.

Handle

banking relationships

for credit facilities, LC/BG documentation, and term loans.

Optimize utilization of bank limits and ensure timely repayment and interest management.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

Lead the

annual budgeting and forecasting

process in coordination with all departments.

Analyze cost variances and drive cost-reduction initiatives across the organization.

Support management in pricing and profitability analysis for machines, spares, and projects.

6. Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

Provide financial insights for

strategic decision-making

and business expansion.

Develop and mentor the accounts & finance team for enhanced performance.

Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Purchase, Production, HR) for cross-functional financial support.

Ensure transparency, ethical practices, and financial discipline across all financial activities.

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliances

.

Expertise in

SAP systems

.

Sound understanding of

costing in a manufacturing environment

.

Excellent

analytical, leadership, and communication

skills.

Strong command over

Excel, MIS, and financial analysis

.

Experience in

fundraising, banking negotiations

, or

financial risk management

.

Exposure to

export/import transactions

and

foreign currency management

.

Understanding of

company law, audits, and secretarial compliance

.

Qualification & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

B.Com Graduatesss

Experience:

10-15 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in

engineering or machine manufacturing industry

, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or head role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
