Our first state-of-art retail store has been launched in Agra. The multi-brand store is the one stop shop for home improvement needs of a family and we plan to take this concept pan India. The stores will be under the brand of Ishan World. This store will change the face of the industry altogether.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Monitor and manage inventory transactions and assist in inventory control processes.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on financial performance and variances.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability.
Handle tax-related matters, including filing tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Provide support during external audits and ensure timely resolution of any audit findings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or in a similar role within the retail industry, preferably in the ceramic sector.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements related to retail operations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
