Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced E-commerce Accountant to manage financial transactions, accounting records, and compliance for our online sales platforms. The role involves handling sales reconciliation across multiple marketplaces, monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate accounting of inventory and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts for e-commerce operations in Tally / ERP / accounting software.

Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, returns, expenses, and payments).

Reconcile online sales, commissions, discounts, returns, and payment settlements with marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.).

Handle GST/TDS compliance, filing, and reconciliation of GSTR reports with sales invoices.

Manage inventory accounting, stock adjustments, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Track and analyze expenses, vendor payments, and refunds.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis of products.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams for compliance.

Ensure timely and accurate payroll entries (if required)

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (CA/ICWA Inter preferred but not mandatory).

2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail.

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/ERP software

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.) settlement reports.

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
