Job Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role will support the Accounts Manager by preparing reconciliations, assisting in monthly closures, and improving process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations: Post journal entries, book invoices, and maintain ledgers accurately. Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable - invoice processing, vendor/customer follow-ups, and reconciliations. Perform regular bank reconciliations and clear outstanding items. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely deduction and filing of TDS/GST. Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and expense claims for audits. Support internal and statutory audits with required data and schedules. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports for management review. Support variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) and provide explanations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data submitted to Accounts Manager. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process automation or efficiency enhancements. Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. Experience: 2-5 years in accounting, preferably in a corporate setup. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF). Working knowledge of ERP/accounting software (Tally/SAP/Oracle/Zoho Books). Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance timelines. Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities. High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
