We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and financial reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with accounting software, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and process sales invoices and ensure accuracy in billing information.
Track payments and follow up with customers on outstanding invoices.
Assist with GST filings, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliances as per Indian tax laws.
Ensure timely submission of returns and accurate record-keeping for audits.
Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Manage end-to-end process of vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of dues.
Reconcile vendor and customer statements and resolve discrepancies.
Record daily transactions in the accounting system, including journal entries, bank entries, and adjustments.
Reconcile bank statements and petty cash on a monthly basis.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
Strong Knowledge of Finance and Accounting Principles
Ability to Manage Multiple Projects and Prioritize Effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Other Financial Software
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Related Field
Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration is a Plus
Experience working in the Indian financial system and familiarity with local compliance regulations.
Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC).
Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
Experience in handling Indian tax laws (GST, TDS) and statutory compliances.
