The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing, bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The role ensures that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger and financial records.
Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and credit notes.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor bank transactions.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders for financial matters.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification (e.g., CA Inter, ACCA part-qualified) is an advantage.
Experience with tax filings (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
