The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the financial operations within the college. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions Management:
Process and record financial transactions, including tuition fees, grants, donations, and other revenue.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements.
Account Reconciliation:
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and account balances.
Budget Monitoring:
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets.
Track expenditures and provide reports on budget status.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial reports for internal use and external stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with college financial policies and procedures.
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all financial transactions and records.
Customer Service:
Provide support to students, faculty, and staff regarding financial inquiries and issues.
Qualifications
:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in accounting or financial management is a plus.
Experience working in an educational or non-profit environment is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Tally).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
