The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely collections and payments.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Manage petty cash transactions and expense reimbursements.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for financial clarifications.
Generate MIS reports and present financial data to management as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com / MBA preferred).
Proven experience (0-2 years) as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
