The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Tally. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing invoices, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures. The candidate will work closely with the reporting manager to support various accounting and finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting Operations:
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchase entries, sales entries, bank entries, vendor invoices, and other routine accounting entries in Tally.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely posting of all transactions.
Invoice Preparation:
Generate and issue invoices as requested, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain invoice records and assist in reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable.
Account Maintenance & Reconciliation:
Keep books of accounts up to date at all times.
Assist in monthly closing activities, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of bank statements and vendor accounts.
Coordination & Support:
Coordinate with the reporting manager and other internal teams for accounting and reporting requirements.
Support in audits, data compilation, and preparation of financial reports as directed.
Compliance & Record Keeping:
Ensure all accounting processes comply with organizational standards and statutory requirements.
Maintain orderly filing and record-keeping of financial documents for easy retrieval.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
and
MS Excel

Strong understanding of
basic accounting principles
and
GST concepts
.
Good analytical and numerical ability.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High sense of responsibility and integrity in handling financial data.
Educational Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in accounting operations.
