Access Life Assistance Foundation is a registered Indian not-for-profit organization (Section 8 company) dedicated to providing holistic, multi-disciplinary supportive care to underprivileged families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment. Founded in 2014, Access Life offers a loving, temporary home to children battling cancer and their caregivers, helping them navigate the emotional, social, and logistical challenges of treatment. From a single centre in Chembur, Mumbai, the organization has expanded to
11 childhood cancer care centres
across India, including locations in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Chandigarh, and Manipal.
To date, Access Life has supported
over 2,900 children and their families

Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting entries in ERP, including expenses, grants, and budgets
Approve and reconcile petty cash transactions
Prepare NEFT payment sheets and perform bank reconciliations
Maintain and update Tally with accurate ledger entries
Handle TDS-related activities: working, payment, and filing assistance
Prepare donor-related reports such as Fund Utilization Certificates (FUCs), fund/bank balance reconciliations, and donor proposals
Generate management reports: FCRA admin usage %, bank-wise cash flow, and budget vs actuals
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and create ledgers after final approvals
Support internal, statutory, and FCRA audit processes
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of accounting experience
, preferably in the non-profit or compliance-driven sector
Proficiency in
Tally
and
ERP software
Strong understanding of
TDS regulations and compliance
Experience with
donor reporting
and fund reconciliations
Working knowledge of
FCRA
compliance and related reporting is a plus
Proficient in
MS Excel
and financial report preparation
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reconciliation skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and support audits efficiently
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external auditors
