, a growing tech company. You'll be responsible for maintaining our books in
Zoho Books
, ensuring timely invoicing, following up on client payments, managing vendor settlements, and handling monthly and annual tax filings.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and update the
company's books of accounts
in Zoho Books with accuracy and timeliness.
+ Manage
daily accounting entries
, journal postings, and reconciliations.
+ Ensure
invoices are created and shared with clients
promptly and handle
payment follow-ups
via calls, emails, or WhatsApp messages.
+ Track and report
accounts receivable and payable
, ensuring all client and vendor transactions are recorded properly.
+ Manage
vendor payments, reimbursements, settlements, and payroll payouts
in coordination with management.
+ Oversee
monthly and annual tax filings
, including
GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
.
+ Generate
monthly financial statements, expense reports, and management summaries
.
+ Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, or consultants when required.
+ Maintain organized digital records of
bills, receipts, invoices, and payment proofs
.
+ Monitor
cash flow and outstanding balances
, and keep management informed of key financial metrics.
+ Suggest improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and compliance.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+
1-2 years of hands-on experience
in accounting (preferably in startups or SMEs).
+ Working knowledge of
Zoho Books
or similar accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, etc.).
+ Strong understanding of
GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in
MS Excel / Google Sheets
for reporting.
+ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
+ Strong sense of ownership, accuracy, and attention to detail.
+ Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a
remote setup
.
