The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance department's day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Bookkeeping
Record financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and supplier accounts.
Invoicing and Payments
Prepare, issue, and monitor invoices for customers.
Process payments to vendors and manage payroll transactions.
Financial Reporting
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
Compliance and Taxation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory submissions.
