The Accounts Executive will support the Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and inter-department coordination within the liquor trading business. The role involves transaction reconciliation, invoice processing, customer account support, and assisting in budgeting and financial projects while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual and periodic budgets
Maintain accurate financial records, receipts, and supporting documents
Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly financial transactions
Prepare balance sheets and support finalization of accounts
Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Develop in-depth knowledge of company products, pricing structures, and operational processes specific to the liquor industry
Provide accounting and billing support to customers and internal stakeholders
Resolve financial disputes raised by customer service and sales teams
Act as a key point of contact for other departments on accounting and financial matters
Support the Finance Head/Manager and senior executives with assigned projects, reports, and tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in liquor, FMCG, or trading industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and MS Excel
Good communication and coordination skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
