We are seeking for an Account Executive with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to independently manage accounting functions and statutory compliances in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and be proficient in modern accounting tools.
Roles & Responsibilities
Journal Entries & Ledger Management:?Accurately record journal entries and perform reconciliations for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general ledgers.
GST & TDS Compliance:?Independently handle monthly GST filings (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B), TDS computations, payments, and e-TDS return filings.
Customer Billing & Payments:?Oversee customer invoicing (100-150+ bills/month) and manage vendor payments through online banking platforms.
Statutory Filings:?Ensure timely filings and payments for GST, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and Provident Fund (PF).
Banking & Treasury Operations:?Manage banking transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain relationships with banking partners.
Expense & Reimbursement Management:?Manage provisions for expenses, prepaid expenses, and oversee employee reimbursement tracking and processing.
Cash Flow Monitoring:?Monitor cash flow and assist in capital planning and fund utilization.
Tax & Audit Support:?Assist in preparation for income tax returns, statutory audits, and tax audit schedules.
Regulatory Compliance:?Handle filings related to ROC and RBI compliances as required.
Month-End Closing:?Support monthly closings by preparing necessary financial reports and ensuring completeness of accounts.
Required Skills and Tools
Zoho Books Proficiency:?Must be skilled in using Zoho Books for day-to-day accounting operations.
MS Office Skills:?Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
Online Filing Systems:?Hands-on experience with banking portals, GST portal, TDS filing systems, and government compliance websites.
Work Ethic:?High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:? Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
Work Experience:?Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a startup or fast-growing company.
